“WINGS” (Women IN God’s Service) is for all the ladies! We serve our Lenten, Vacation Bible School, and Funeral meals at St. Mark’s. We maintain the kitchen and prepare the altar each Sunday with communion wine cups and unleavened bread. Outside service includes donations of quilts and cookies to the MLM Christmas Store, diapers to the local Happy Bottoms, hygiene purchases for Catholic Social Services, Salvation Army, Temporary Lodging for Children in Olathe and contributions to Prairie Learning Center and JOCO Food Ministry/Center of Grace.
As a group, WINGS gathers for a Spring Brunch meeting, hold unique craft demos, organize the library, hold a weekly quilting sewing group, hold monthly book club meetings, and have held tea party events to encourage friendship and collaboration during the year.
